People always talk about martial arts, especially Muay Thai, but many of them have no idea how this kind of class works. For this reason, we’ll explain a little bit of this fantastic sport. First, we need to understand that Muay Thai is a mix of both aerobic and anaerobic workout. It can provide you strength and endurance at the same time. Usually you will find a good warm up in the first quarter of the class which includes jumping rope and shadowboxing. These offer a dash of aerobic activity. In the second part of the class, you train yourself for anaerobic exercises like punching, kicking, elbowing, and kneeing. It’s always a different class with techniques to learn.
